an Awesome Week

So after an awesome service last sunday the week just got better and better...with a few ups and downs but those are what just made this week so awesome to me...let me share!!!

FIRST.... THE LORD IS MORE ALIVE IN MY HEART THAN ANY OTHER EASTER BEFORE....HE IS RISEN.... IM SO THANKFUL THAT IM SAVED BY THE BLOOD HE SHED ON THE CROSS ON CALVARY YEARS AGO... HE IS ALIVE!!!

The devil tried attacking me in ways that would hurt me most but i stood strong and let God show me the way and by doing so God recieved the Glory and the devil didnt win. Its funny how you begin to do great things for God and the devil begins to attack...i take that as a compliment...if the devil is attacking that means he is scared im going to do great things for God.

Monday i went to see Heaven's gates and hell's flames with AJ and Leslie...this opened my eyes that i need to share my love for christ with more people. We are not promised tomorrow but what if the person we love the most, friend we cant live without, co worker spend 5 days with doesnt know christ as their personal savior ....its time we share our love for God with others. We are here to spread the word of God... its hard to take that stand but its worth someone not going to hell...do we fear rejection so much that it will send the ones we care about to hell cuz we couldnt simply tell them about Jesus.

Wednesday...things were going good ...all the kids showed up for our last practice and everyone was excited and i still wasnt stressing!!! wow i wasnt stressing.....lol

Thurs, Fri, and Sat was the Live Crucifixion and it was an awesome experiance each nite. I have seen it practiced over and over but each time i got something new from it. I know the story and i have seen it reinacted several times but what a blessing it was to see it again! If you do not know the story let me share a lil with you..... years ago God sent His ONE and ONLY son to die on the cross on calvary for you and me....knowing time and time again we would fail him but he paid a debt for each one of us!

I started doing drama's with this youth group in october of 08 and they are a young group of kids. i said after the live nativity that it would be awesome to do the live crucifixion.... i was not sure if this was possible with such a young group but i couldnt be more pleased with what an awesome job they did this week! They showed up early, moved chairs, cleaned up, performed great each nite, went above and beyond and im so proud of them. way to go D2S!!!

I had some things come against me this week and the devil was doing his best to discourage me and attacked me in personal areas and used people i care alot about but because of some awesome friends and a great church family i survived and was able to make it out of the storm! i dont say it enough but i have some awesome friends in my life and im very thankful for each one of you.... I also have a wonderful church family who i love and know im loved by them. They support me and love me! I do not know where I would be without my church family!!!

life doesnt get much better... thank you Lord for all that you are in my life!!!!

HAPPY EASTER...I HOPE ALL OF YOU READING THIS REALIZE THAT IT NOT ABOUT A BUNNY AND EGGS BUT ABOUT A CROSS THAT JESUS DIED ON AND PAID A DEBT THAT WE CAN NEVER REPAY...HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU AND ME!!!!
